Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor
for Hybrid Vehicles(IGBT)
We conduct research on information and communication,
as well as electronics, to ensure advanced vehicles
that better meet the needs of society.
In the field of information and communication, we carry
out research on high-speed digital mobile telecommunication
technologies, man-machine interfaces and display devices.
The objective of this research is to develop a multifunctional
vehicle-mounted information and communication system
that promises greater usability.
The developments of devices and systems now in progress
include power control devices for electric vehicles,
communication devices, gas sensors, sensors for advanced
vehicle control, and sensing systems based on optical,
image, and radio-wave technologies.
The scope of our new research activity encompasses
the most advanced research on information display devices
and optical integrated circuits, as well as their materials
and properties. In addition, for greater production
efficiency, we are also studying information processing
technologies for the improvement of design, manufacturing
and logistics processes.
