The work at MIT was published online in Joule

The work of our researcher Iwata, a visiting scholar at MIT, and his colleagues was published in Joule.
In this work, the bubble dynamics and the overpotential in alkaline water splitting were investigated by engineering the wettability of porous electrodes.
Distinct bubble growth and departure modes were observed when varying the wettability of porous electrodes and it resulted in drastic change of the transport overpotential.
